Wonderlab: Spectroscope

Due to limited supplies, registration is required. Call (920) 236-5208 to visit the Children's Department to reserve your spot.
In this hands-on class, active learners ages 5 - 9 will explore and experiment using the principals of S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, art and math). This program is held in the library's Lower Level.

How to Build a Spectroscope
Let’s explore and experiment using the principles of S.T.E.A.M (science, technology, engineering, art, and math)! It may look white, but the light you see is made up of many different colors. Scientists use a device known as a spectroscope to study the range of colors (spectrum) in different kinds of light. Here we will make our own spectroscope so you can also view the different colors!
