A new monthly program featuring hands-on projects that allow kids ages 9 - 12 to explore S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, art and math). We meet in the library's Lower Level. This month's project is sensational speakers.

Speakers are complex machines that carry sound waves through coils to play out great music. The science of sound is vast and, it turns out, you can make pretty cool speakers out of paper cups and paper tubes.
