Follow the clues to find the treasure! We’ve hidden 50 copies of banned books around Oshkosh. Clues are posted on our Facebook page and you’ll see updates there when we receive information that books have been found.
How do you participate? It's easy:
1. Solve a clue.
2. Visit the location.
3. Tell the staff there that you're on the hunt for books!
You can select the book you want from the titles they have on hand. Read it, share it, and celebrate your Freedom to Read! Inside each book you will find a bookmark that you can return to the library for an additional prize: A $5 Downtown Oshkosh gift card!
Please note: All books are located inside the participating sites and are available only during the hours that those sites are open to the public. Happy hunting!
