In this interactive workshop, aspiring writers will develop their storytelling skills, discover their unique voice, and craft the first draft of a new piece, whether it is a short story, poem, or nonfiction. Local authors Bill Gillard and Tom Cannon will lead fun exercises and group discussions to help participants to learn about plot development, character creation, showing vs. telling, creating tension, and how to engage a reader.
