Picture Perfect Chemistry for Kids

Join the Northeast Wisconsin American Chemical Society and the Oshkosh Public Library for a free National Chemistry Week event.

Celebrate the importance of chemistry in everyday life!

Learn about this year’s theme, Picture Perfect Chemistry, with exciting hands-on activities.

Where: Lower level of Oshkosh Public Library
What: At this drop-in event, kids and families will learn about photography and modern imaging. Activities include: Imaging with sun print paper and black lights and mixing of colors with tissue paper painting and colored lights.

In recognition of October 23 as Mole Day, kids will learn about atoms and the mole, a fundamental unit in chemistry, by measuring metal blocks that each contain a mole of atoms.
