Getting your child ready to read and succeed in school starts at birth!

Introducing High Flyers, a self-paced program designed to get children ready to read and ensure that they enter kindergarten ready to learn.

The free, self-paced program is open to children from birth through 4K and will help parents to track how often they engage their child in the five key activities – talk, sing, read, write & play - that build pre-reading skills. We’ll provide age-appropriate examples to practice, library programs, and resources to help support parents on this important developmental journey.

Join High Flyers to receive:

  • Log sheets to keep track of how many times you talk, sing, read, write & play with your child. This helps to build consistency and make the activities a daily habit.
  • Age-appropriate tip sheets with suggested activities that are easy, fun and effective ways to practice the five key activities and build pre-literacy skills.
