Tour the historic Doe House
Sat., Aug. 31 at 10 a.m.
The Doe House is located on the corner of Mount Vernon and Merritt Streets in Oshkosh. William Waters designed the home in 1869 for wealthy industrialist William H. Doe. His great-great-great-granddaughter, Becky Doe Brown and her husband Paul Williams have devoted more than a year to restoring the structure. Accept their invitation to experience a piece of Oshkosh’s history.
Gaze at the stars
Stay up a little later and peer into the cosmos using one of the library’s new TIY (Try It Yourself) Stargazing Kits. You can borrow one for up to a week with your library card. Connect with other amateur astrologists through Northeast Wisconsin Stargazers (NEWSTAR).
