April is National Poetry Month
Founded by the Academy of American Poets in 1996, National Poetry Month celebrates the important role poets and poetry have played in American culture.
April Poetry Walk 2022
During April, a selection of 20 poems by local authors are on display in Downtown Oshkosh businesses and organizations. A panel of judges curated these works following a Call For Submissions process in February 2022. The public is invited to view these poems at their own pace anytime they visit downtown or Oshkosh Public Library.
Poems & Participating Businesses
The April Poetry Walk is brought to you by Oshkosh Public Library and the Downtown Oshkosh Business Improvement District (BID). Thank you to the many writers who submitted a poem and congratulations to our featured poets. (Browse the entire collection.)
We hope that your self-guided tour of the poetry walk is a unique, relaxing and inspiring experience this month.
