Occurring over a single day on a special blue moon, this novel tells the story of a young girl named Keeper who is searching for her mother - a mermaid. Keeper must confront her beliefs about her mother and magic when she gest washed out to sea aloone in a small boat.
This dystopian tale is not for the faint of heart! Devin lives in a future affected by climate change and economic enequities, but these are the least of his worries when he is seemingly saved by the Gabriel H. Penn Home for Childhood - a place that hides vicious secrets.
