This is an entry level, part-time, 11-hour per week position. TYPICAL DUTIES PERFORMED (These examples do not list all the duties which may be assigned; any one position may not include all the duties listed.)
Shelves library materials. Reads shelves.
Discharges bookdrops and in-house returns.
Handles incoming materials from other libraries.
Assists self-check customers.
Checks out and discharges reading collections for area nursing homes and day cares.
Prepares, repairs or reconditions library materials.
Assists with routine interlibrary loan procedures.
Performs other related work as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Master of Library Science degree from an ALA accredited institution. Recent graduates from an ALA-accredited master’s degree program are encouraged to apply.
Position Description: The Oshkosh Public Library is seeking a full-time children’s librarian whose talents, knowledge and customer service skills can bring our services to the next level. Interest and experience creating and supporting STEM programming for children and families is highly desirable, as is a penchant for learning and utilizing new digital platforms for programs and services.
