Everyone Has A Story to Tell

In this interactive workshop, aspiring writers will develop their storytelling skills, discover their unique voice, and craft the first draft of a new piece, whether it is a short story, poem, or nonfiction. Local authors Bill Gillard and Tom Cannon will lead fun exercises and group discussions to help participants to learn about plot development, character creation, showing vs. telling, creating tension, and how to engage a reader. Bill and Tom will provide advice to aspiring writers on their projects and share their experiences in the publishing world. Everyone is welcome! Lower Level

Open Mic Night

Join members of the Oshkosh Area Writers Club for a special night of sharing poetry and prose. Whether you’d like to read or simply listen to local talent, it is certain to be an experience!

This after-hours program will be held under the Dome.
